Experience


Experience is a measure of the total progress obtained throughout the game.

Notes


  • Can be gained via certain actions such as: defeating enemies and bosses, completing quests, looting containers, and mining rare ores and resources.
  • Is used to gate progress, such as restricting entry into biomes, using certain equipment, and attuning.
  • When attuning, the crystal is upgraded to the appropriate experience level, augmenting its effects.
  • The crystal has a level and a number of “rune” slots.
  • Attuning the crystal allows you to assign learned runes to these slots.
  • Slot count increases at specific level intervals.
  • Runes can be discovered naturally throughout the world during gameplay, such as when mining, combat, exploring, etc.
  • The purpose of runes is to augment the players natural abilities as they progress through the game, in conjunction with their equipment.
  • Runes can also be learned via scrolls, which can either be found in loot containers or purchased from npcs.
