**Buffs** are temporary status effects that continuously affect the player while they are active. Buffs can either provide benefits to the player, or negatively target the player if originating from an enemy or environmental hazard.

  * Positive Buffs
    * Health Regen
      * Slowly heals the player over time
    * Perfect Dodge
      * Causes the next hit taken to miss completely
    * Invincibility
      * The player is unable to take damage for a set duration
  * Negative Buffs
    * Potion Fatigue
      * Prevents the player from drinking another potion for a set duration
    * Poison
      * Slowly damages the player over time
